Network Notification

Network notifications are triggered when a monitor changes from any given state to another.

When a state change occur, a Windows message is sent to the list of primary recipients. If one of the recipients fails to recieve a message, the backup recipient list is used. This is to ensure that the messages reach at least on of the recipients.

Network notifications, requires you have the Windows messenger service installed and running. This is typically disabled by default.

Notification triggers are:

  • Monitor warnings.
  • Monitor fails.
  • Monitor succes.
