DNS Caching

DNS Caching

When a host is contacted using a DNS resolved name, the IP number of the host is saved locally in the B4Failure database.

If your DNS servers fail to answer, the last known IP resolution is contacted, ensuring that your services are checked, event if your DNS suffers from an error. Once the DNS is online, the host will be resolved realtime again.
